African mahogany veneer can have different configurations, including the so-called “pyramid” or crotch (fork). Veneer with this pattern is obtained by planing a fork in a tree trunk and is used exclusively as a front veneer in the furniture industry, the manufacture of musical instruments. Usually the length of this veneer does not exceed 2 m. The uniqueness of the “pyramid” configuration gives the products a special beauty and nobility when using solutions in traditional styles.
