Amazaku (ovangkol, shedu) is an African species of trees used in the production of veneer, plywood, flooring, exclusive furniture, decorative elements, musical instruments, boxes. A close relative – bubinga. This is a tree from the same family with the same mechanical properties. It has the same beautiful texture. Unlike red-pink bubinga wood, amazak has a chocolate-brown hue. Elsewhere, it is the same dense, hard and stable wood. Grows in rainforests, as well as near rivers and lakes. Is an evergreen tree with a trunk up to 1-2 m in diameter, often with buttresses, grow up to 40-50 m in height.
