The special look of wood comes from its twisted structure, which forms striped, decorative surfaces in the radial cut and three-dimensional shapes in the tangential. A large number of scattered pores of medium size form a unique porous structure. The heart rays are very thin and appear on the brightly shining radial plane as long and thin figures.
