Limba black figured refers to veneer selected from the darker core of the wood – usually reddish-brown with varying degrees of irregular black stripes.
The texture of the veneer is evenly rough with an excellent natural silky sheen. After drying, the wood is stable during operation. Well polished and tinted. Has not high resistance to bio-destroyers, to increase the service life is pre-treated.
Limbi has a delicate aroma.
The texture of this veneer is highly valued for architectural use, and is very popular in the production of veneer, plywood, flooring, decorative furniture and interior trim panels. It is also used to make musical instruments (guitars by Flying V and Explorer).
